Alterations

Photograph the garment with an A4 sheet and write what bothers you when you wear it; you get an alteration order marking where to alter and by how much. Without a photo, the tailor measures the lengths.

Drafted from typical ready-to-wear size M measurements. Your garment will differ, so measure it with a tape and change them.

For a good photo

  • A plain floor, the neck at the top, sleeves and legs spread away from the body
  • All four corners of the A4 sheet in view. It can lie on the garment
  • A finger or two of floor around the garment, the phone parallel to the floor
  • A photo of the front and one of the back fill each other's gaps

What bothers you?

Write what bothers you when you wear it, the way you'd say it. If you measured it, include the number.
